The process.

1. Site visit: measure the pool footprint, check side access, hand-test soil, check for groundwater, identify the legal stormwater discharge point.
2. Dial Before You Dig: plan overlay 5 working days before the dig. Mark any services on the ground.
3. Set out: peg the pool corners to the pool builder’s dig spec, allow over-dig for plumbing as required.
4. Dig: 5t excavator (or mini-ex on tight access). Clean spoil load straight into tippers — no spoil pile in the yard.
5. De-water (where required): pump out and keep pumped through pool shell placement on Cranbourne West / Clyde sites.
6. Trim: base level checked, sides plumb or contoured to spec, base scraped clean for the shell or rebar cage.
7. Surround prep: after the shell is in, return to strip surround topsoil and lay sub-base for paving or coping.

Pool builder coordination.

We work with the major Casey pool builders (Aloha, Compass, Narellan and local installers) and follow their dig spec sheets. The pool builder confirms dig dimensions, tolerances, base depth and any plumbing over-dig. We dig to that spec 3–5 days before the shell arrives. They place the pool; we come back for surround prep.
